About the Speaker:

Maulana Saifur-Rahman Qasim is a senior student of Allama Sarfraz Khan Safdar (ra). He received his Dars-e-Nizami degree from Nusrat al-Ulum in Gujranwala, and then went on to study at the famous Umm al-Quraa University in Makkah Mukarramah for another five years. After completing his course of study at Umm al-Quraa, he returned to Pakistan where he taught the six authentic books of Hadith along with other subjects for a decade. Maulana Saifur-Rahman oversees an Islamic educational institute for women in Gujranwala, and conducts numerous workshops and short courses all over Pakistan. He is also a Hafiz of the Qur’an and has studied the science of Qiraat. Maulana is an academic at heart, having published dozens of books in both Arabic and Urdu in multiple subject areas including Islamic beliefs, Hadith, Seerah, finality of Prophethood, Fiqh, Arabic grammar, Inheritance Laws and Islamic educational books for children. Maulana Saifur-Rahman was also granted ijaza in Islamic Spirituality (tasawwuf) by the highly respected Shaykh Zulfiqar and guides people on the path of coming closer to Allah.
